Zamosc is located in south-eastern Poland (in the voivodship of Lublin).
Less than 20 km to the south lays the Roztocze National Park with its 85 sq. km unpolluted virgin nature. It is a good idea to take advantage of the beautiful landscapes and peaceful countryside of the town. After visiting Zamość, you can travel to the nearby towns and popular tourist spots such as Zwierzyniec, Guciów or Krasnobród.

How to get there and around
From Cracow, Warsaw and Lublin the best form of transport is the bus.
These buses go quite frequently.
The Zamosc Bus Terminal is located in the New Town, 4-5 citybus stops from the Old Town.
From Warsaw
Take the bus (ca. 30 zloty and 4 hours) from PKS Stadion Terminal or express train to Lublin.
From Lublin
Mini busses of a private company leave around every half hour from Lublin Bus Terminal (Dworzec PKS) for Zamosc.
The Lublin Bus Terminal is very close to the city centre but a short taxi ride away from the main train station.
Bus tickets to Zamość are approx.10 zloty/2,50 EUR, the bus ride takes about 1,5 hours.
You can take a taxi to Zamosc (can be negotiated for approx. 150 złoty/approx. 40 EUR). Taxi ride from Lublin takes roughly 1 hour.
